anyone see on http://www.carsales.com.au that poor 58 semaphore beetle with a
whaletail and some horrid front bumper?
Selling for 2k, recond motor, get rid of the whale tail and bumpers and u got a very cheap classic.
But terrible what people do to some cars. I baja'ed a 69, but the 69 isn't really special, so it don't matter :P, but a 58, or even any KG. OUCH
I would mod a KG, Its just gotta be done right. The mods are suppose to make it 'betta'. NOT an excuse to puke.
each to there own though, each to there own...

I wonder why He did that to the headlamps???
and are those really karmann Ghia tail lamps???
Where in the world did they get those air vents???
I have seen some like that in a Brazillian Karmann Ghia....
Its been made to look like another car altogether....
A lot of money & time to do what????
Way over priced I think....
for something that has to be repainted etc... again !!!!

Rossi headlights and Type 3 tail lights by the looks of it. Seen plenty of ghias with early beetle headlights, but not Rossi's. Lots of effort
that's for sure.
