Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks as they say, but I personally love em! I saw a set of 4 for sale at the VW forum at Penrith a while back for $1500 (if my memory serves me correctly....not sure though!)....but I think these may have been 14 inchers?

Sorry I can't be more help, if you do on sell them to vw folk, I guess you have to keep in mind that your market may be limited to those who are willing to change their bolt patterns to suit.

It depends a lot what sort they are
Early 5 bolt / late 4 bolt
original / replicas
centre caps?

I think $1500 is a bit over the top - about 1/2 that would be closer but still premium

wheels

Hi all,
For a set of 15' fuch you would be looking at around $1500+
I think if you saw a set for $500 skewy you should grab them!
Blue i think you may be a little confused Fuchs were never made in four bolt stud pattern
At work we make a fuch replica in the early 205 stud pattern in any size or width you require.
for details or photos:

Look out when you are buying the original wheels.
1.Early fuchs don't have the safty bead this will require you to use inner tubes in
2.There are several types of fuch early and late early has the longer spoke and the latter shorter spoke (they look funny if you mix and match)
3.Quite a lot of fuch are 14' make sure you check the stamping on the inside to determine what sort they are. These would go well on a Kombi as they came standard with 14' rims
cheers

fuschs

I think that Fuschs are the nicest wheel ever made, there is just something about them, especially in 16 inch size.
they did come in 4 stud, they were an optional extra on the early Porsche 914's.
Very rare to get originals though, copies are easy enough to get though.
regards
Jak

Dasdubber those fuchs you seen where 4.5 x 15 and are rare as hell!
I looked at them and kick my self every day for not buying them.
Just think how much you could slam your front end with a set of them on the front.

Crikey, 15' wheels - you'll need a bloody long ladder just to climb up to the door! However, if you see a pair of 6x15" wheels at about that price, and are willing to go to the expense of getting the hubs to suit (unless you've already done the full porche brake swap,) it sounds about right.
