removing kombi headlights
trying to remove the headlights on 72 kombi - but not having much luck - if I remove the screws in the chrome trim nothing happens - do I need to pry
them out - anyone got any suggestions for
klutz boy?

outer chrome trim pops off, there is a flat edge on the side of the outer edge that points to the middle of the car (thingk there was a screw there)
get a screwdriver behind that and lever it off, i think thats how it works. behind there are more placement screws, all easy with the trim off.

a 72 wouldnt have semi sealed lights
on a kombi the main screw is at 3oclock on the drivers side and 9oclock passengers from memory so just take out the big screw (the 2 smaller ones are
the horizontal and vertical adjusters) and like bbc said put a blade screwdriver under the flat part near where the screw came out and the hole
headlight assy will come out
