vdo gauges - what range?

a friend has offered me a couple of vdo gauges - oil temp and pressure (he's a nice guy).

the temp is 40-120 oC
the pressure is 0-500 kpa (5 bar)

is this range suitable for a mild 1600 tp?
and where is the best (and cheapest!) place to get senders?

cheers

I have those exact gauges. The 0-120C is a water temp gauge, but it should be good enough on a mild 1600. The actaul oil temp gauge is 0-140C. I bought the senders from Repco, they were a bit cheaper than Autobarn. The pressure sender was around $55 and the temp sender around $16.
