The micro cometh

It has happened project number 5 has arrived

Thanx to Buggy Brads Backyard of Beetles,Buses and Barnyard animals (not bad illiteration HeH)

i now have a 76 microbus.
am very happy with purchase and brad was heeps of help loading the bohemoth
After having four beetles its nice to have a car that i dont have to crouch all the time or manouver my body in ways it was never meant for.

Work has already started on it but with only having 30 to 45 mins each day to spend on it it(gotta work when my boy is asleep) will be a while in the works
I hope to have it done within the next two years as money and time present themselves

a few parts will be needed and some questions answered but i know you guys always have the goods

Thanx for the ramble pics will come at interesting points
Jason

how old is your boy ? I have a 4.5 month old son and a loving wife and still struggle to find 5 minutes at a time !!!!!

Enjoy..... I had a 78 ex army micro once, that was loads of fun.

Mind you, it did have a V8 in it......

Good on ya. relieving brad of another one of his pesky VWs.

I know your pain, we're on number 2 and he's 5 weeks old. Going out to the garage generally means a confrontation with the missis. :(

Still, soon enough, I'll be able to sit in a comfy chair and tell the kiddies what to do while they fix my car...yeah right!:smirk:

The boy is just about to turn one so im lucky cause some days like today i got nearly an hour while he slept.

Doubley lucky cause the wife is the finance manager and im the stay home dad so if the house works done she has no complaints and i think she is secretly excited by the build

with a bit of luck it will be on the road by the time he is out of his car seat
