1969 BEETLE
1600 TWIN PORT MOTOR
Full restoration 7 years ago but now needing some TLC
- Engine from a 1975 beetle- runs well
- Solid body
- Paint starting to fade, small rust spots in usual places
- Mags-nicely colour coded
- Good tyres
- Inertia reel belts
- Clarion MP3 player/speakers (plays regular cds, cd-r, cd-rw and mp3cd)
- New headlining and door panels
- Carpet good
- Front seats could do with replacement
- Sports steering wheel
- Problems with the clutch so it probably needs replacing
- 6 month Rego
With a little work this VW could be a good looker and a reliable runabout. It’s up to you how far you want to take it but it’s a good place to
start. Replace the seats and clutch, or go the full hog!
