Type 3 box + L bug


Can I easily fit a Type 3 automatic gearbox into my L bug??????

no. The main problem is the auto's are very wide at the bottom, and don't fit between the chassis/frame horns. It would take a huge amount of effect and engineering approval to get an auto gearbox in any beetle.

IRS type 3's don't have frame horns and therefore don't have a problem.
