Thanks for the kind words guys.
I've had her for a year now and I'm pretty happy with the way she's been getting me around and I've fixed all the bugs in the engine, rear axle
and steering etc. So now I'm gonna move onto the body.
I've actually just scored myself an apprenticeship as a panel beater, (I start monday) so hopefully I'll pick up some skills quickly and do a bit
myself soon! There's a fair bit of rust in the bottom of the nose and top of the windshield area. I'll probably have to replace the battery trays in
both sides and the rear corners as well. I want to return her to the original colour, Delta Green, that's the colour you can see I chipped away on
the front panel under the badge. Interior is going to be a couple shades of grey vinyl like the original door cards and seats. I've got a jail bar
set for the rear window on it's way in the mail.
I'm contemplating removing the pop-top and replacing the roof to make way for a nice grey headliner and large roof rack on top. What do you think?
