Just outta curiosity, observing interests
1969 vw beetle, semi auto, 3rd owner, has front and rear cut/shortened for baja conversion, never been bashed offroad, IRS, balljoint, front disk
brakes.
Got baja spares, comes with all the semi auto gear, 2 nice big offroad 31'' wheels, Doesn't come with original engine, am willing to throw in a
1300 single port, with a 1500 or 1300 short block. + maybe some heater boxes, being winter.
Has rust in A pillars, comes with spare panels, seats are original, needing reuphostering or seat covers, Comes with front and rear barwork, golf
waterbox, airhorn, lights etc., Got original fenders/decklid/bonnet for it too with chrome.
Some things need putting back together. Semi auto box and gear been unbolted out, Same goes for seats etc. Needs reassembling. Comes with a split
speaker system, tweeters in doors, subs in rear under seat. Got an original 69' AM radio (works), comes with battery, usual gizmos, CB radio antenna
on bonnet (NOT the CB however).
Just looking for any interests, and what would anyone be willing to offer. No promises, i'm just contimplating options at the moment.

The 67, which was far worse conditino than the 69' was bought for $750 :o Came with some good spares though
This was originally bought for a bargain buk of $250 (MINUS ANY ENGINE BITS) due to a landlord not being happy, was ur run of the mill bug, but some
work has been put to it, and many other features have been slapped in on it.
Its gone a far bit away than what it originally was, and the spares i'm throwing it, as well as the kit, the engine components, airhorns, stereo gear
($200 worth of speakers), golf water box, body kit spares, the 31'' offroad tyres + rims etc. Its gone a bit further since that donna.

the barwork being thrown in with it to.
At the moment, just overlooking my options as to how to get a car on the road ASAP. Whether i let this one go, and try to look for something else, or
work on this thing.
I dunno how tis gonna go, I can't say i'm not attatched to it
You purchase the components separately, it will ad up over $250 pretty quickly

The fact youve semi-baja'd it might hurt your chances of a sale Chris... I'm not going to assert that, as I could be wrong... but I dont see too
many people would be willing to part with any large sum of money for a half-finished, somewhat rusty, pulled apart, unregistered half-a-baja... if it
were still intact... or had the baja conversion been completed... i can see that youtr chances would be rather more sporting.
I am just thinlking many would see it as being little more than a butchered hulk...
Not trying to shit on your sale... this is all just my own opinion.
Keep in mind tho, running and registered Baja's and buggies, like the Mini Moke, have a rather limited market... and a lot of people will not buy a
whole vehicle for parts, no matter how good value it is... as most simply dont have the space, or are not allowed by the powers-that-be to have a
parts hulk cluttering the yard up.
But anyway... to answer your question, I'd be thinking around the 500ish-700ish bucks mark is the max youd get...

yeah, i agree. the baja conversion is complete, all the cutting is done, its jsut a matter of assembly.
But i don't think i can let this one go. :jesus As soon as I finished the cutting for the kit, i ran to my parents telling em that i was a father.
And they looked me wierd. Hehe.
Can i really sell my baby baja daughter. :o Shes a bit premature at the moment though.
