ARGH:sniffle: I went everywhere looking for these today and couldn't find the VW ones.
Here's were I went looking:
Blacktown: Target, KMart and BigW
Winston Hills: BigW
Parramatta: KMart, ToysRus and Sheriffs Mini Cars

The closest I got was ToysRus who had the OldSkool range at least but had sold out of the VWs. Sheriffs said they couldn't compete with the large chain prices so they stopped stocking them. They said the best thing to do is to use the models and modify them. Which isn't for the novice like myself. But I'm thinking about giving it a go as I've done basic models before but learning to modify them would be cool. Just need to find the time. hmmm

Apart from that www.startoyimports.com.au got back to me and said that they'll have them in range on July/August. Guess I'll just wait for that, will save me all this running around.
