$hitter daily driver 70 beetle update23/09 1600, webbers
Was bored so decided to put up some pics of my daily driver.. you know the feeling you get when you are fixing up a VW project and you drive another
make of vehicle daily. Not the same as driving a VW considering my other vehicle is a 70K 4WD I quite like driving this to and from work as is but
lately I got sick of it looking stock so decided to muck around with it a bit. Got it for a 1000 bucks, had it for about 2 months now and hasn’t
given me much trouble it’s a 70 beetle.

this is it in all it's glory baby poo brown. will get a colour change very soon
i'm going to go sort of cal look with this just with out the big engine.
got sick of standard height so fitted an adjustable beam today only went down a couple of inches till i sort out my wheels.
these are the wheels i'm going to run they are Ronals i think they sort of look cool, different and a bit ugly. don't know what colour to go with
them keep the cross in the centre polished and other parts black or just polish the whole rim. help me out gyus.
well as you can see i had the day off today so fitted beam and standoffs.
also fitted a decent radio for my listening pleasure.
sony explod head unit big amp, pioneer sub and 6x9 makes the whole bug shakes when listening to the Casualties or the Unseen and the Exploited

The one on the right is what the rims used to look like
I wanted the rims painted black but not too sure on what sections to have polished. I don’t want highly polished rims as they would not suit the
theme of the car.
What do you think??
Should I just highlight the cross section?
or the cross and other ribs eg the bars between the arms of the cross
