Magnum Sabre Convertible

Hey Guys,

Anyone seen/heard/owned one of these before..... Uncle purchased awhile ago and I've not been able to find anything. Type 3 pan standard late model and not shortened.

All I can get on the body is that it's fibreglass one piece and has "adr magnum sabre convertible" written on a sticker. No other details available.

If you have any info, would greatly appreciate. Drop me a line.

Emu, contact me on al356037@bigpond.net.au. I am in contact with the man who designed this car (and mine). It's a DRB kitcar (made in QLD in the 80's). I am somewhat of an afficionado of kitcars and can provide you with a lot of info on your car.

If you check out http://www.copycatcars.com,  go to 'about the builder', scroll down to the pics and you'll see a pic of the hardtop magnum (3rd along top row of pics).

Send me a pic of the car and I'll chat to Denis about it if you like.

You can check out my Sabre MKII in members rides (or fifth pic top row on copycatcars).

Welcome to the wonderful world of Independantly Constructed Vehicles!

Cheers,

Mick.

The Sabre in the above geocities link is a Sabre MKI, not a Magnum. They are similar, but different in bodyshape slightly.

Yup, Denis built 2 of these and has NO plans to make them available for sale.

Me and bugbrained are trying VERY hard to make him change his mind!

Personally, I would part with my left nut and a large portion of my right one for one of these.

Well, two nuts are better than one. Case in point - Hitler :D

But I think even he would have given up his only one for this car.
