QUEENSLANDER
CAN'T HEAR THOSE BLOODY COCKROACHES
i know there were some here somewhere ,supposed to play a game of real football last night but they didnt show up they must have got lost in Brisbane
can somebody whip into the botanical gardens ,they could be in there with the rest of the girls looking at the flowers ,perhaps in the Queen st mall
looking in the dress shops
can anybody see them ,i looked everywhere but i cant find a single cocky anywhere !!!! :alien
Hang on i heard there were a couple slithering around at the airport, better wiz out and have a look , -- where to start-- perhaps the girls toilets
would be a good spot
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

I didn't even watch the game last night as it doesn't interest me too much (although I still like to see Qld win) but it is very quiet on here about
the game from the southerners isn't it?

Too busy watching the World Cup
have to admit NSW played CRAP!
Dropped balls, dropped balls and when they didnt drop the ball they would pass straight into a Maroons hands! :duh
There was even a contender for "falcon" of the year award!
Was hard to get excited watching that game fron a Blues point of view..... VERY sad

Not to detract from the maroons last night, but the blues played a dismal game. Even Menzies couldn't hold on to the ball.
Then Mason is on the news this morning saying "WE" have to pick up next game. HE was personally responsible for giving Queensland the ball inside
our 20, 3 bloody times.
But that said, it aint over til the fat lady sings. Last night only evened the series.
While your down at the airport, jump on a plane to Sydney & see where the trophy has been kept for the last few years...........
Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.

God you Queenslanders are a naive bunch! there are only ever two "Real" games in State of Origin. the first and the last, the middle game is rigged
to ensure viewers and spectators at the last game which this year is in Melbourne (80,000 stadium capacity) a dead rubber does not pull crowds and as
this is Big Business you work it out.. the games mean nothing to the premiership, and the players and referees know who they are working for..so

Oh silver, you jaded old cockroach! As a loyal subject of Gods' Own State I refuse to believe that anything other than the purest of sunshine beams
down on us and that Southerners wouldn't keep moving here if it wasn't the land of milk, honey and retirement tax breaks.
And besides, surely everything we see on TV is true? Why would showbusiness personalities lie to us, their loyal viewers? Won't the extra hour in
daylight savings fade my curtains?
A POSSE AD ESSE.
I live in my own little world, but it's okay, they know me here.

You got to admit. It was a pretty poor performance from the Blues. Queensland played all over them, or so it seems. Its just a pity some of the
comments here arent aimed at promoting the good things about football instead of slagging each other off. Ive been a Blues supporter for longer than
most of you blokes so I seen it all remember. NSWplayed as good as Queensland let them. And it was reflected in the score. I was a bit worried the
Queenslanders may be going through another rebuilding period and the contest might be gone. But no. If Nate Miles isnt in an Australian jumper soon
I will walk to Brisbane. Thaid I think is a flash in the pan. Then again, I said that about Civoniceva.
However, if you think that the NSW team, chock a block full of internationals as it is, is finsihed, ...think again. They are not intimidated. They
are all hardened footballers who had a very off night. Although I think Finch and Anasta have more off nights than on.
I'm going to Melbourne to watch the game with my son and some Queensland mates. Nolt the ratbag type, the thinking ones. You know, the nones who
cant see a future in Queensland. (Shit. Now there I go slagging off the other mob. I apologise)
Old Hutcho.
ps: I tried to post after the last game last series but I couldnt get a reply from Queensland. Must have been the lines down or something.

OK. OK... No response. So I'll go a little bit further then. Lockyer should not have been man of the match. He is still playing well below his
best. The man of the match should have been either Steve Price, Petero Civoniceva or Nate Miles. The new Queensland bolter from the Cowboys is OK
but just OK. Lets see how he goes when the going gets tough.
I see on the Sydney news tonight that Johns has made himself available for game three! That should make it interesting. Very interesting!!!
Now the only problem we have is who are we going to pick at 5/8. Obviously Anasta is not up to it. Maybe Johns could make him look good.
Old Hutcho.
Come on Queenslanders. We love the contest. Lets go.

I had a good time, I tipped the Queenslanders in a house full of NSW tippers.
NSW will lose again if...
Finch plays.
Hindmarsh sits on the bench for most of the game.
QLD repeats their kicking game.
QLD will lose if
they rush up in defence so quickly when the half back isnt too blind to chip over.
They are named as favourites.

Lockyer has played under Bennet too long. Grumpy turd he is.
I also think he is well overrated. Never has been as good as some like to make out.

oh Sinecure you slimy toad its people like you who keep filling the pockets of the corporations, good on you for believing ...as for people moving up
to Queensland why wouldn't you if you cant afford to live in the premier state, as I own too many pairs of shoes and like wearing them it wouldn't
suit me to move up there, and for the curtains get rid of them plantation shutters are much trendier and they don't fade... heres a some insight for
you, as reward for throwing the second game NSW will get to win the third and I am to embarrassed to tell you how much I won on the match last night
