The old 12R engine is goooooone, and i cant find any 12R, 18R or 20R engines. Does anyone know of any engines that could go in here? And like where

You can't find a mid 80's Corona in a wreckers? The 2 litre 18R motors are EVERYWHERE. I have a mate with one in a Suzuki. He's checking what
condition it's in and will get back to me.

Mid 80's 12R will bolt straight up.
The 12R 1600cc was used 1969-88, the 18R 2000cc was used 1971-82
The 12R gearbox will not bolt up to the 18R. Physically the 18R engine/gearbox should fit in the engine bay, but no one is sure about sump clearance
or engine/gearbox mounts.
Salisbury Wrecking here in Bris have what they say is a very good, tested 12R with a 3 month guarantee for $425 + $50 freight to Bundaberg. Speak to
Derrick at Salisbury on 07 3277 5066 if you are interested.
