No.
Only if YOU have a problem with it being a '65.
Other than that there's just no point.

nah i like it being a 65 the only thing i prefer is the popes nose style number plate light but i cant see me taking away from the originality of the
car just over the rear number plate light.

do what you want. that's a subtle mod, but one that won't detract from the car. I'm sure there are other mods you are doing too so why not.

I agree with Pete Wood it's your car do what you want.
But me I would leave it as is.

paint up both a popes nose and a standard one, then you can pick and choose.
paint 2 engine lids too so that the holes are right for each.

Popes noses rock. would look dead ugly on a pope, but on a dub, classic.
I got one with the number plate light on a baja rear scoop thingy. well, its not a scoop, but sits across there like a shortened decklid. Very classy!
Go for it mate. Listen to the inner voice.

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears.
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads, turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!
