Got hit from behind today
Dammit, was in Hellensburgh for a mtb race today and some sod drove into the back of our squareback in his 4x4.
He claimed he didnt see us....
Hmmm not to much damadge but has bent bumper (just got the things so they weren't drooping!!), smashed the rear wrap arond reflector and pushed the
crease bellow the rear light flat. Somehow he missed the new rear lens I put in yesterday!
So off to vintage vee dub for a quote on monday, and just hope the man will pay up...
not all bad though so pissed off got second in the race!

Our Baja Bus got rear ended by a Semi Trailer last year, and actually came off better than before it was hit......
The bottom of the Trucks bullbar hit our Towbar, and actually straightened it up (it was bent down from towing a Rodeo out of a bog....) so its not
always bad.

4WD drivers always say i never saw you, i say do you see the dead man on these, my fists that is. I had a 4WD back into me while i was in my car,
had the horn beeping the whole time and he still backed into me, got out and he said i didn't see you. Idiots.
This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.

Yet 4WD people claim to own a 4wd when living in the city, "so they can see better" ??
So what are they all looking at when going straight ahead... ??

haevnt seen a pair of rear guards yet that hasnt got an extra creasre from a small meeting with the bumper

4x4 owners should get their heads out of their asses...chances are they DON'T actually see you, as they don't particularly give a toss who the run
into so dont bother looking. They know very well that they will come out tops... "MY Prado is VERY safe in an accident!" :o :puke
