Interior material?
I see a lot of Vans have been done out in this thin carpet sort of stuff that forms to the shape of the body or what ever it covers. What is it and
where do you get it and how is it applied.

Local carpet shop up here call it marine carpet...thing is, now it comes in a range of colors, and its easy as to cut...and mould...u can get black,
dark blue, light blue, light green, pink & purple...
BUT...about 6 months ago I noticed Bunnings are now carrying it, but not sure it if its known as marine there. But if u head to rug section they have
it on rollars...costs about $40/linear meter.
dubless.

Yeah
I made some carpets for the Kombi out of marine carpet. But its to thick stiff to mould around complex curves I can do the lower half of the rear
interior of the old girl with marine carpet. But for the upper half I need something like this, I think its called lining material?

Cool
While your there ask what the best brand spray and brush on adhesive is I have used a few different brands over the years with varying results,
although I only used pressure pacs. I was wondering if I should buy it in bulk and get a proper spray gun. Whats the difference between a paint gun
and a glue gun.

They sell "TAC Adhesives" products. I buy the brush on adhesive which is great stuff. Will ask about their spray on gear...haven't used it.

you need the marine carpet without the backing its is amazing and conforms to very complex shapes and is identical to marine carpet but has no
reinforcing on the rear . Stretches to buggery use contact cement. mitch

yeah, marine carpet without the backing. my auto-trimmer did my beetle roof (I was too scared to do something quite that curved). I did my rear vision
mirror with it no worries though.

the carpet you are looking for is called SOLO .it is unbacked and will mould to any suface.for small areas you can use 3M spary glue, just make shaw it
is high heat compatable.ask your local motor trimmer.
