its the seat eqiv of a mk3 polo, very nice with a VR6..
mate has a white mk3 ibiza gti and u can lose your liscence in that easy enough
VR6 in there just steps the game up

Yeah, as you say it lifts the game. Its proper quick, like 110 in second gear, 150-160 is the top of third and you still have 2 gears left!
I hunt wrxs and ss commodores and never lose.
It is the equivilant of the polo and shares a subframe with the golf, which made it a relatively easy conversion. No welding.
I used the VR6 front brakes and mated them to the abs on the SEAT. It has sachs race springs and shox and a million other extras.
Car cost $25k+ to build
Still for sale.
