people can be so cruel
it really shits me when people cut up perfectly solid restorable vws for no good god damn reason

specially old ones
i had to watch 4 bugs go under the hot axe coz a bunch of my old mans mates thought it would be really cool to build them selves trikes
on the plus side tho my parts pile got even bigger but thats probably a bad thing
sorry everyone just venting

Dam them... people who chop up bugs are just murders
...
but... if the bug was dead in the first place... and someone took advantage of another path... then maybe Lol... hmm.
Tell ya what, any pre 1500 bug i get that is standard, i'm gonna leave standard from now on, after seeing Karina's sisters rag top ride... i am neva
touching another angle grinder to a bug, unless its 1500 series and up. Inc. supers :P
I still regret not buying that 58' bug in january... i had the money... i saw it, it was complete, running, but y didn't i get it

thats true chris,
i was only bitching coz that bug wasnt dead - far from
and most of them are like that
i see ppl all the time buy good solid bugs just for the engines or gearbox and just leave the rest to rot
really pisses me off coz they;re certainly not rolling off the production line anymore thats for sure

yeah coz it uses the chassis from the gearbox back
and the only way to get one easy is to chop a bug up

yeah, would be quicker than unbolting the body, unwiring it, then lifting it off and all... pity though, tis a freegan waste if they aren't gonna use
it.

I'm surprised more trike builders aren't using FWD setups. I would think an east-west engine/gearbox would be ideal, plus the potentially easy and
cheap jap parts.
A POSSE AD ESSE.
I live in my own little world, but it's okay, they know me here.
