I had a look at one yesturday when my H6 out back had its fist ever fault ( 50,000ks ) blown tail light globe .

The R32 looks good , I asked the Girl who fixes them there and she told me ( there ok )

A couple of friends of mine have the silver Mark 4 R 32's.

Great to drive, awesome quality, for the money I'd have one of these over a Subaroo any day!

Going for a test drive in the Mark 5 R32 tomorrow!

Drove the Mark 5 R32 today.....!!!!!

What a great car..! the DSG is sensational.! Launch mode is the most fun..!!

I love driving cars with nice manual g/boxes, but that DSG is the best for all round fun with the steering wheel paddle shift as well as the tip-toinic shifter and when one is driving in town just slip it into drive.

It has the neat programme of blipping the throttle on the downshifts..!

I'd say if your lookin at one and you test drive, you'll be signing on the dotted line as soon as your back at the dealers.

I'm yet to see a Jap car live up to the hipe!

You'll find it'll be lacking in low down torque and when they have a comparison between the hot hatches, The Gti will be right with the Mazda in straight line performance, but the VW will be better to drive and have far greater build quality.!

Far too heavy and not the performance for the money but thats not always important to buyers. Plus they really get shitty when an old Fasty chops them silly at the lights :P

1971 Type 3 Fasty - EJ20T

I love 242HP sleepers.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn? UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

That might be the case, but they would dust a GTi.......but I've never driven an EVO 10, only 6,7,8,9...Torque was GOOD!!:bounce:bounce

And they would dust a R32 as well. I never said they were not quick....but it's the total package I look at. I'd have a R32 over Evo's or STI's anyday! I'd save the dustin of Evo's and alike for my beetle.!!

What colours do they come in over there? Do you use the launch mode regularly at lights?

Post a pic of yours..!
