My Lil Girl
Just have some pics of my Bug awaiting new Al fuel line which is to pass through the inside of the tunnel. It really doesn't look like much fun!
:puke
My new engine is a 2332 built by Stan Pobjoy & Peter Richards.
Really startin to look foward to drivin this thing again. Hasn't turned a wheel in anger in over 6 years!

Is the tubing Ali? Wouldn't it be better with proper fuel line, bundy tube? I heard that the ali tends to stress crack and also split when flared.
I am also feeding the line down the tunnel but also back again fot the return and also 1 1/2 inch water lines. It is possible.

Thanks for all the kind words about my Bug!
T54- It is Russel Aluminium fuel line, it's used in speedway and is NHRA legal apparently.
I think I'm making too big of a deal about feeding the fuel line through the tunnel.! Should only take about 1/2 hour or so!
Did you go to the passenger side of the tunnel with which lines? With all the lines going through you must have hardley any room left.?
Andrew:You must have a horizontally opposed 8 cyl with all those leads dude..!
bugeyedbabe: The seats are SAAS which have been re upholstered.

What are your best speed and time Craig?
And what specific mods are being done to the engine?
What times do you hope to run in it at Warwick and Willowbank?
Any more work to the trans? What ratios do you run?
Share the info dude!!!

Yeah its tight but can be done. I have 2 fuel and 2 water. I want to drill a couple of holes in the pan and cable tie them together to the pan to stop
them rattling around. I hate rattles and squeeks. Top looking car by th way. What fixings are you going to use. Try http://www.summit.com if you haven't already got them. I wanted black fittings and had to get some from the states. Good
Luck!

Dave
Ran 12.5@105 street full interior with aircleaners on with soft tune.( Remember I only raced once a year!)
Pete tells me the heads are ready and for me not to worry about anything! Apparently heads have had a fair amount of work aswell as the manifolds. I
won't know until
I get it back to see what he has done.! Valves are the same size 42x37.5. Apparently I have 8 spark plugs.!
The trans: Now your asking: ZF diff, saw axles,4.12R&P
full set albins gears can't remember ratiios, I think 4th is 117.???? Might have to put different one in ????
We'll just have to see how stage 1 goes before we start gettin too involved?
I'll be running Optimax and I also have no fancy electronic 2 step or staging brake or anything like that. Just me,handbrake and a couple of feet to
do the ballet with.! It's just our idea of a streeter.
Times: I'll just do the best I can.!

Thanks Andrew!
I was just wondering if a '68 was better than a '69.!
But I think they're both pretty damn good!
Barls,
It's Ferrari Red. ( from the F40) Can't remember the exact name but we also added some extra darker tint in the colour.

What venturis in your Webers Craig?
Still using a short manifold? Were they the old style Borg-Warner, or Berg Short?
What am I doing at home?...Retired!

Hey Dave
How's retirement? WE'll start with 40mm and move up.
I have heaps of jets and another set of venturis.
Manifolds are the Berg short.
