ok, that is just stupid. there's no need for anything that big on a bug. even JVL only has 19 on his and that's silly enough. The wheels and tyres
probably weigh more than the rest of the car.

but mid mounted v8....is this an Australian project?
What chasis does it run?
I found these plans through a ebay add...

you can build a awesome chasis/suspension/engine package and put a rat beetle body on it...
I'd probably go turbo suby - low centre of gravity and smaller/lighter than V8...
