Goldie Origional Volkswagen Sunroofs were fitted on Australian made Beetles until May 1966

After that Volkswagen went to a Steel opening Sunroof by Goldie again

Britax were an After market option fitted by various shops after purchase of the Vehicle from Volkswagen

If you havea Steel roof then its origional and if its a Material type roof then possible a Britax

Have you got a pic of it ???

had a 62 Golde Ragtop. Fitted and never leaked no matter how hard it rained. If it leaks is probably not a factory one...get the hose out.
