WEBBER DUMPED
Well this is interesting! reminds me when Ducati dumped Bayliss!
Both of these Aussies were doing it tuff with new machinery and developing it!
I hope Flavio has something better next year for Mark.
Could he end up at Renault or maybe McLaren?????

"released" I believe is the official word.

They could not pay the price to take the option on his contract, hence he came onto the open market. they were hopeing to keep him at lower $$, but
run the risk of somebody offering better money. The rumors will eat you alive if you believe all of them.
I am waiting for the press reliese. Hopefully this weekend.

A confident Mark Webber says his Formula One career is "under control" as he prepares to move up the grid in 2007.
Webber is certain of remaining in F1 next season, saying he would be "very silly" to walk away from Williams without having another drive lined
up.
Webber is now favoured to replace world champion Fernando Alonso at Renault, with the Spaniard destined for McLaren next season.

though alonso was having second thoughts about moving. Now renault are in till 08 he is looking at breaking his contract with mclaren. Kimi would stay
at mclaren and alonso stays at renault. The most likley place for webber will be red bull along side Coulthard. With the new car being a fully Adrian
Newey designed car it should be good.

Would love to see him on the current DUKE Moto GP bike!
With all the new development on the bike and the tyres, I reckon he would be Bloody Competitive...!!
Hope he wins the World Super Bike C/ship this year!

If he gets in a top team with a chance to go at the Title or at least some race wins, only then will we see him at his best.! Will he prove that
he's as good as the best.??
Or will he be at the top of the next group.?
Only time will tell!

Webber is not that good, he is like Jenson Button, Fisi and some others who will win but do not have the final percent to be the next Schumacher or
Alonso. Think the driver of the future to watch is Lewis Hamilton, he may even be driving for Mclaren next year.
