They suit the car very nicely...... actually I think they look better on your drag car than the car they came off....

Hey Dave,
Those tyres look nice and big.
How are they going to fit under STD gaurds?

Thanks for the comments guys.
I have some 7" rims also, that have a 113mm inside half that I plan to squeeze under the back.
Those tyres are 28x9", but I have some new 26x8" tyres to use with std guards.
That should step my power up in the rev range by 500rpm, to 7200@115.
Atleast then it will reach the power peak in 4th gear!
These will be my 1/8 mile in third gear(7800) tyres, after some more testing.

Your car looks like it's a model in the second photo!
Those wheels really fill the guards out:thumb

Thanks for the offer Alan, but I cant think of what would be consistent with the theme, with out looking out of place.
Plus I would prefer to let my performances be the draw card.
I was pretty fond of the blue and green that were there in the 90s..perhaps a modern twist on that Idea?

How much did you end up cutting from the beam? Certainly made a big difference.

I took 100mm.
The wheels stuck out about 50mm from standard so that worked perfect.
Was a lot of work, next time I will save a little longer and buy one already done.

No, it is the opposite actually!
The wheel offset has put the wheel centre back to standard,
and with all the stops removed from the beam and pitman arm, it is very good.
But I only drive straight!
