1957 SPLITTY FOR SALE (tas)
Seller's Name – Jeremy Fish
Suburb / Post Code – Claremont 7011
Item Description, Condition – 1957 11 window bus. Mint cond.
Item Cost - $34 000
Home; 03 62 497143
Mob; 041 955 4283
I've decided to sell the splitty. Most on here would know this bus already. It was restored by Dave in Adelaide (57kombi). It has had everything
done.
The body has been TOTALLY restored, top and bottom. There is literally not one mm of rust in this bus anywhere, nor will there be for a very very long
time- if ever...
All the rust has been cut out and replaced with quality repair panels. It is all coated in POR-15 underneath and on the floor etc etc. EVERY cavity
has been extensively treated with fish oil. Dave built this bus to last.
The paint work is top quality 2-pac.
It runs a 1641cc motor with stock carb.
the rear-end has been converted to straight axle using a 1500 bug box and type3 rear brakes.
This is fantastic on the highway.
The front end has dropped spindles, so it's nice and low but rides nice and soft.
EVERYTHING on this bus is new or restored!!
I've added Flat4 sprintstars and 175/55-15 and 185/65-15 tyres.
It now has Creative Engineering polished safaris as well as deluxe trim all round.
I'll post some more pics over the weekend and add anything else I've forgotten to mention.

Thanks guys. I'd dearly love to keep it, I know I'll never find one as good as this, but you can't have a bus and house renos as well....
Some more pics as promised

Hi All,
I can vouch for this bus. It is awesome. I only wish I could have it. Jeremy is stating facts, not fiction when he claims this has had some major
work. Beautiful to behold.
Here is a shot you should have posted, mate. Classic I reckon. Hope you don't mind.

I'll vouch for the quality of build on this bus too.
I saw it being done, and even helped out in some spots.
you will not find one spot of rust anywhere in this bus, and it has been finished so that there will not be any for a very long time.
It drives as good as it looks too.

Yeah I know Jim, but it's too good for me to use for what I need. I know I'll regret it as I'll never find one as good but that's life I
guess..

I really need to win lotto (or sell the house!!)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, and in good condition- but rather tossed in sideways - Beer in one
hand - chocolate in the other - body totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"
