Link Pin to Ball joint

how do you go about changing a link pin front end to a ball joint one?

does the beam only need to be modified or does the framehead need to be changed?

I beg to differ.

This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.

Link pin is good for a "by the book" resto, but if you want a better ride and some camber ajustability ball joints are the frogs bollocks, so how hard is it to replace the whole head?

cut the link pin one off, weld a balljoint one on, make sure you measure it up accurately and it gets welded on square.

It's easier to do a chassis swap

No alignment or strength problems and hey, you need to find another donor chassis anyway...
