Ron if you get hold of 1600cc bug adapter plate & 200mm fly wheel to make it fit a 091 kombi trans all you need to do is fit a 1600 kombi or 1800
kombi bell housing to the ( 091 2 ltr box ) you would need the matching starter as well .

forgot about this i want to go from kombi adaptor to beetle box, not 100% sure if it's going to happen if it does you guys will be the first to
know.

Why a beetle box? Not as strong.. The splitty conversion I have nearly finished has a single side plate with the big cv's, quaife and albins although
that is alot of $$, wouldnt a 2 litre box be a stronger starting point.
