I once found an excellent fuel saving device. He was about six foot tall and handed me a ticket. Save me heaps on fuel. One tank lasted 3 months!!
What my garage isn't messy........Well chaos is a form of order isn't it?

Hi,
I was just reading yesterday about running Your car on water...
the adds were there on websites all the time
normally $264 Now $39-99 [something like that]
turns out all it is, is instructions to make hydrogen
and run Your car on it...
I saw a diagram of it...
and they say all the components can be easily obtained??
some of the ones I saw , would be difficult to find and could cost many thousands of dollars..
another one was - running your car on compressed air.... lol
I have enough trouble putting it in My tyres... lol
I must admit - I did buy a magnet in a nice yellow cover that fitted over your fuel hose...
it was cheap on ebay...
I complained about something and he sent me another one, My Son tried it...
naturally they did nothing...
although if any metal particles [rust] had come thru the fuel line, the magnet would have stopped them...
still that doesn't give you better economy
just means you need a new fuel tank

PS: OK I didn't believe an engine could run on water...
but thought that by magnetizing the fuel, it would make a difference..

A lof of people are fitting small hydrogen generators which feed a small amount into the air intake - mainly on the strength of some big claims by
ebay sellers and some forums.
Unless I'm missing something, I cant see how the small amount of electrical energy input used for the hydrolosis reaction can result in bigger
energy outputs from the claimed engine power gains. |

Glue thumb tacks [drawing pins] onto Your accelerator..
naturally with the sharp bits sticking up....
then drive bare footed....
Now that Will Work and its NOT available on E-Bay...

There was an episode of mythbusters where they tested various of fuel saving devices at different speed on a dyno
the magnet did nothing
the high efficiency carby made the car less efficient
adding acetone to fuel, no improvement, if anything less
the water to hydrogen didn't work. although some said hydrogen was supposed to assist with normal combustion
they so tried cooking oil on a diesel motor which actually run

The only problem is when the cooking oil is cold. There are people using diesel to warm the engine up then used cooking oil after that. It's simpler
than converting the oil to biodiesel!

A lot of people don't know it but the diesel engine was originally designed to run on peanut oil. Used cooking oil is fine but needs to be filtered
several times with better filters each time and then there is no problem running on it. If it is not filtered there is too much gunk (technical
terminology) in it to get through the filter properly, and you will need to buy filters regularly. But it will not cause any damage or problems when
cleaned from filtering. My brother and I both have research it to some degree. He was working with it for his charity car i just bought a bug instead.
Now if Porche had done more with diesels we would all be leading the way. Imagine an air cooled biodiesel!

Sorry to ruin this for you people but it is actually possible to run ur car on hydrogen, i ran my lawn mower motor on it, now im not saying its
efficiant which it isnt my hydrogen generator (which i made for about $30) needs about 15amps to get 1lpm of hydrogen and oxygen never the less it is
possible.

The trouble with these gimmicks to "run your car on water (hydrogen)" is conservation of energy - you have to use more energy to produce the
hydrogen than you can get back out of burning it!
What amused me is DB&HVWs ran an article on Clyde Berg's device - a gizmo that was popular back in the 70's - it may be that it's extra
turbulence creates more efficient combustion under some conditions, but mostly it works by limiting how much power you can get out of the engine.
You could just lift your right foot a bit... There were a couple of devices based on that, too - one was a a progressive spring to discourage using
too much accelerator, and another was a bolt to stop the pedal going all the way to the floor!

The reality is that within the next 20 years we will be running on clean fuels. General consumption eg. family cars will use either hydrogen (already
available overseas) or battery technology generated from solar technologies. Bio-fuels will generally be used for heavy equipment. Bio-fuels should
hopefully not be generated from food stocks. Engines without any major modifications will run on hydrogen and due to the lack of carbon also run a lot
cleaner with less wear and tear. Solar hydrogen kits and hydrogen cars have been available for sale in the US, its our government that for tax
(excise) reasons have not allowed in fact banned the import of these technologies.
Jetzt mache ich meinen Karmann und Käfer zusammen.
