If that was any narrower they would need to take out the fuel tank and put the front wheels in the space there.
Would almost handle like one of those 3 wheeled cars, don't go hillclimbing in it!!

I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about, but it must surely be only for looks. I'm sure the good Professor would've made it like that if was a good thing to do.
It seems to be all the rage in Europe, and some parts of the US - but alas, it just doesn't do a thing for me. I'd come to 1" to 2" narrower, but that looks way too much. :crazy:

The best thing about this hobby (lifestyle) is that we all have our own tastes, the car let's us indulge our fantasies, and we can all appreciate the effort it takes to do these things.
