VW Motoring Magazine
I just recieved my LAST copy of this fine VW magazine.
Looks like they have gone belly up and decided theres too much competion in the VW magzine world, in the UK
I find this sad especially after the magazine has been printed for some 45 years.
I have every single issue back to number one in 1961, and even had a feature done on my 1956 Oval a few years ago.
Thats 2 VW magazines in the past year or so with VW Trends going down
dont thing i will get any of my subscrition funds back
:cry :cry :cry

I really think the pic of the bunch is ultraVW now. all the best european, us cars and some aussie cars (+ porsches), all in colour (unlike VW
trends), without 50 million trillion zillion ads (hotvws) and the articles cut in half, half in front of the mag, half in the back (vwtrends and
hotvws). It's also a good balance between anal purist cars and all out custom jobs. I was going to subscribe but I figured out it cost roughly the
same to buy it from the local newso.

Apart from the VWA Magazine, the Ultra VW Magazine is best...
I used to like Total VW, but I believe it has also Gone... UK magazine...
Ultra VW sort of replaced it...
but a different publisher I believe......
I heard where the US VW Magazine that came out after VW trends has finished too....
Hope VWA keeps going....
its the largest best quality VW magazine We have ever had
I probably have all the others too...

With the amount of stories on my desk, VWMA has a momentum all of its own.
Managing to fit them all in within a reasonable time frame due to the constraints of a quarterly mag is the biggest challenge. Thankfully, most people
are prepared to wait and watch the publication grow.
Many thanks all for the support, especially from AVD readers.

I didn't know VW Motoring was still going! I remember buying my first copy in March '73 when it was still called Safer Motoring and it had a blue
beetle on the front cover.

[size=4]Hi,
I used to get Safer Motoring...
but when it stopped being printed
, I didn't get anything else...
Only bought Aussie VW Mags when I could find them...
Don't tell Craig, but one of them was printed in Black & White on crappy newspaper type paper...
but its too late anyway...
We Are Now used to seeing a Colorful VWA magazine in full Glossy color on quality paper and 100 pages....
sorry Craig,
Lee Noonan

I haven't seen a VW [official] magazine for years...
I think VWA will continue to do well....
I keep telling VW owners about it,
and its surprising how many people still haven't heard of it..??
I don't read the US VW magazines....
even if they are given to Me...
