Subaru EJ22M - 127,000 - $500

I have a EJ22M, non turbo, engine which i need to offload. It has never been thrashed since the vehicle it is in was brought new in 1991. It has recently had all seals/gaskets replaced, timing belt replaced, timing belt pully replaced and is in very good condition, drives extremely well. The motor will be pulled out in roughly 3 weeks also.

If anyone wants photos, just pm me.

If anyones interested ring Dean on 0405 362 290

Cheers

I am located in Sydney. Freighting might be a option, but ill leave it upto the person/s interested to organise that. I am willing to organise transport to a freight depot though.

The reason the motor is coming out, well its a long story sort of so here it goes. Car rego was coming up and the steering was leaking, and there were afew gaskets that needed replacing, so the car went in to get all this repaired. While there the gearbox was found to be on its way out so we replaced the gearbox. The replacement one had a repaired crack in it, 2 weeks after i got the car back the crack opened up and all the differential oil dropped out.

I spent $3500 on getting the car on the road again, only $400 of that was put towards the gearbox. Basically about $2000 alone went to the motor.

So i decided to do a rs conversion, i found a front cut, and now im here lol. I wanted more than $500 but i need to get the thing sold as i have no storage for it, and if i keep it, it gonna end up getting thrown away.

It comes without loom and computer, well at this point thats what i know, but i hope when the motor is pulled out, i can let all that go with it.

Cheers

Well i would concider it a long motor, just without loom and computer. As i said it comes with intake manifold, injectors, exhaust manifold, its a bare engine, but ready to drop in if someone can locate a loom and computer.

I cant believe how much interest this engine is getting now lol, its actually abit nerve racking coz with so many people interested i dont know what to do when sale time comes, who to sell it to and what not.
