WTD: Porsche Rim

G'day Guys/Gals

I'm trying to track down a porsche rim similar to my spare (refer picture attached- wheel has been powder coated).

I run this as my spare, I am hoping to track down another one similar to this, as I want to run a couple of skinny tyres up front on the KG for the Warwick weekend. Get that whole skinny/fat tyre look happening.

Anyone got one out there they are willing to part with for a reasonable price.

Cheers

Brad

Look for a Porsche 356C Lemmertz wheel like I am! Not having much luck though.

Alternatively not the neatest thing but use a beetle 4 stud wheel with one of these adapters:-

Thanks

Posche Steelie

Hi,

I accumulated a set of 4 out of these guys in Sydney over a period of time.

http://www.exoticar-parts.com/about/index.asp

They were spares in various models mainly early 911's and they came with a space saver spare tyre.

If you tell them you are only interested in the rim they will probably do them for a good deal.

If you really want the skinny look, machine the centre of the Porsche Steelie out and weld it to a 15 by 4 outer from a Beetle, this also makes them fit in the spare wheel well easier too.

Chees,

David
