[FS - NSW] 1965 Ragtop Beetle

1965 Oz built Beetle. Factory Golde ragtop with correct chassis number, ie not a ragtop clip cut into a standard sedan. Last year before Oz changed to metal sunroof.

Previous owners have attempted to make the car look OLDER than it is! It has what looks like a 62 or 63 interior, and a narrow number plate light engine lid. The car is not in A1 condition, but better than what you might expect for a 1965 vehicle. Say fair to good. It has had some rust removed, a few more small spots to do. A few oil leaks as well.

Whitewalls (one mising), rear venetian, Front underdash parcel tray, single port 1600 on standard gearbox (flies of the mark!) I also have a spare back seat frame of the correct year, and an AWA Cruiser 6 radio with one missing knob included.

I just don't have the time to restore is how I would like to, and would like to see it go to an enthusiast who understands what it is.

Rego ASN 75H (NSW) expires 7 December 2006

Asking $4200.

Call Michael on 0407226056 or 02 98384505

Car is at Kings Langley in North West Sydney.

great

Thats a nice looking car!
Your price is great, i have seen a couple rags over the last few years sell on ebay for over $1800 and they where rusted out cars with no motor and shagged interiors.I don't think you will have a problem but i do know you will wish you kept it! LOL
Good luck with your sale, i think it looks better than Daves.:P

Note that exterior pictures are 18months old when it was just delivered from SA, hence the non-NSW plates.

I've never see this running around and I'm in Lalor Park, but a stones throw away from Kings Langley.
Best of luck with the sale. She sure does look nice and if it wasn't for a few things happening at the moment I'd almost be tempted.
Just gotta sell this Camry.
