Its got one of those d-zeus fasteners holding it on, so you can just turn the fastener and pull off the end panel.
The bus is running...sounds fat.
We are going to street tune it with the laptop and the wideband sensor and then it will be ready to go.. I will post all the final pics in the next
couple of days.

Hi Matt,
well done!! Great jab with attention to detail!!
But I would never use those connectors in a car, they might cause problems sooner or later!

Loads of people use the double sided screw connectors here. I have cable tied every wire on the panel so it cannot move and since sat all of them on a
strip of rubber. It makes for easy diagnosis for faults. I only used them because a mate who was is an auto electrician advised me of there
advantages...didnt mention cons.

I was out there on friday pervin at the bus in question. A great conversion. The stock intercooler is even in the factory spot. This is class, pure
class.
Now, you old woman, when are you gonna give fighting it and come to the wet side of the force?

Just popped into my uncles house to pick up some exhaust fans and he gave me his Triumph spitfire mk2, complete, last on the road 15 years ago, he
took it off the road to do body resto for his son, who hates cars...take it he says.
Now..what motor do I squeeze into this little puppy?

Nah Spitfires were a twin stromberg 4 I think. Similar to the Dolomite motor.

I am pretty sure this little puppy has a 1200 twin su's with a single a webber upgrade. The later model was a 1500. It looks like this... i was
thinlking a fj20t...I do not know how strong the box is. We could always do like the tiger, and bash the tunnel with a hammer till the top loader
fits, then put a 260(most were swapped for 289's) v8 in the front...or that twin turbo lexus v8 i keep bringing up.

hi, neat radiator. I have an EJ22 in a split and the only thing i'm not happy with is the rad scoop. I like the look of what you've done there as
my rad is in that same place. What is it made of and how did you do it? |

I made it out of small steel tube as a frame and then welded sheet to it to make the shroud. The rad sits at an angle (low at the back) and has twin
thermos on the topside. It is a commodore radiator.
I can make you one if you like.
