Just got some awesome news!

WOOHOO... Got some awesome news. My whole life i have been involved in motorsport, racing and doing official type stuff... For a few years though, I have been the communications official in the pace car at Sandown for the State Racing Series. This basically involves screaming around in...

... this all day and talking on a radio pretending to be mature.

BUT.. the awesome news is i have been asked by the powers that be... wait for it... TO DRIVE IT... WOOHOOO!!!!... WOOOO.... RACE CAR, RACE CAR... YAYYYY...WOOOO....

So excited!! :)

awesome, you work at Sandown! I used to (my folks still do) live like 2 mins from there. I got caught once riding my bike in there when it was closed.

My whole life has been motorsport-full too! My Dad has won Victorian and Australian titles in Car Rallying. I've always been involved in the sport (mostly at official level) but unfortunately I get too carsick to actually look down reading maps in a car... :repuke ... but I'm still keen to get my own car happening someday that I can drive in rallies! :P
I remember a rally event that used to be run at Sandown by Ford Four Car Club. My Dad used to have a hand running the event if I remember rightly, it was awesome fun until it was scrapped.

But congrats to you Brett! Make the most of your drive... ;)
