help in submitting short video


okey ive tryed a couple of times to post a short video for some reason if doesnt seem to want to load . is there anything i need to know the vids are about 4.2 to 5.1 mb .
any help would be appreciated jeff .

format ... avi or mov (windows media/quictime codec). FLV for flash video. YouTube? - maybe a size limit on the upload (photobucket, Flickr), or just that you're trying to direct upload it onto AVD.

So I cant direct upload to AVD straight from camera disc. do I have to upload it to quicktime or media before I want to post onto AVD

convert it to quicktime (.mov) or windows media (.avi)...then upload it to http://www.photobucket.com  (free image/video hosting). You can also upload to youtube.com....should take 5 meg....320x240 is a good size...will take a while to upload, usually 128k upload rate on broadband, most people see 700k download....come on Telstra take off the reduction boxes....
