My opinion
Wheels/Tyres- Very rare EMPI alloy wheels??.... i dont think so??.... nice - but rare?
Any one who doeas a decent resto then puts a Monza 4 tip on doesnt really know VW's
and yes - such a nice car and you cant be bothered vacuuming it before you advertise??
Certainly top dollar - it is a late one that has had early bumpers grafted on. Think i either prefer late bumpers or have the bullets done as well

Top dollar there for an import that has the owners profit margin built in the price considering what they would have bought it into the country
for.
Hunt out a local one Deano and pay $15 - 20k.

I know this car. It is a good solid car, and the owner Carlos, put a lot of hours into its resto. He picked up seond best modified Ghia at the last
Vic Day of'. He really wants $18k for it. Hope this helps. Your right, he does'nt really know VWs, he owns a hodrod shop.

i actually like the bumper job, the conversion looks much nicer on that then it does on the type 3s or bugs i have seen, and rare or not, the rims ARE
sweet

empi's
If they are real empi 8's then they are rare and worth a lot of money.
Looks like a nice car, and if all the body work has been done correct then the price sounds fair.
Try do a real resto on less money!
