so none of you 'bargain' hunters wanted my bug...so looks like I'll have to fix it then.
Where/best price - for new master cylinder/wheel cylinders
Where/best price - for a 12v conversion 'kit' - if indeed there is such a thing

Well you now have a 12volt motor, so you just need a 12volt starter and replace all your globes to 12volt, and your winscreen wiper motor needs to be
slowed down..................easy!
