SUBUGU - Subaru Powered VW Enthusiast and Drivers Forum.

http://www.phpbbserver.com/phpbb/banners/subuguforum.gif

Hey,
As most of you know, I'm interested in Subaru conversions.
I've also noticed the amount of people who are also interested, or have actually completed a conversion.

Over the last week I've been working on a new forum dedicated to Subaru powered VW's, of all types!
I'm just trying to get it off the ground at the moment, and as I type this I have four members...

Can you help it take off?
Anyone can register, you just have to like Subaru motors!
If you have a non Subaru engine conversion in your 'dub, there's even a section there for you!

I'm looking for people to let me use their pictures on our forum, I'm also looking for a few people to moderate the topics.
I'd like someone who knows their stuff to help moderate the Tech Torque topics in particular.
Furthermore, I'm looking for people who want to be involved!

The site is SUBUGU.tk Click here to go to it.

Thanks for your time, and I hope to see you there!

-Staggers.

It takes a fair bit of time to keep a forum running, and will cost a bit to cover the bandwidth if it takes off.

Do you really need another forum? There is already;

I guess if the interest is there, then the need is there.
I don't know how it'll go, and if it actually will take off... But I do hope so.
I'll take that as words of wisdom when you say that a forum takes a fair bit of time.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take people away from any forum, I just figured we could do with a Subaru specific forum.
Thanks.
-Staggers.

There's about two-dozen Subie powered VWs in all of Australia... Is that enough to support a forum? hmm...

there is a yahoo group called subbug who do just what your talking about only in greater numbers coz they're in the US. The focus is on buggies but they are happy to help with anything.

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/subbug/

I found them helpful. I think this forum is more helpful. I'm not sure why you want to start another forum. I'm a member of about 4 now, but this is the only one I look at regularly. Otherwise it's the same people just in a different place. Just my opinion.
