[FS - VIC] 1965 & 1970 type 3 notchback

Hey guys,

Up for sale again is my 1965 notchback, along with a 1970 notchback that I have just picked up.

Please follow the link for details of the 1965 notchy.

http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/post.php?action=reply&fid=12&tid=53517

The 1970 notchback was bought as a donor vehicle for the 1965. I was intending to put the earlier body onto the later pan and use the later interior, however space, time and money constraints force me to sell at a loss.

The 1970 notch has the following features:

- manual transmission
- mint IRS pan
- mint black interior (lowback seats with 'basketweave pattern)...the only negative is the speaker holes cut in the front door panels.
- reputedly great engine and box (I haven't tried starting)
- very little rust in some of the bolt on panels

Please follow the link below to the previous sellers description of the car:

http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=52636#pid508285

The 2 cars as described are offered for sale for $1500 ono. For someone with the desire for a resto, all the parts are there for a realitvely easy resto...solid IRs pan, good early notch body (bolt on guards have some rust but easily repairable), good engine and gearbox, great interior,
2 sets of front disks and rear drums, spare tyres etc etc.

I have come to the realisation that I cannot do a resto at this stage in my life..still building a house and wanting to start a family very soon.

I can be contacted on 0408137017. The cars are located in Hughesdale (near Chadstone Shopping Centre) and I am happy to assist with towing the cars within a reasonable distance (buyer would need to hire a trailer but I can tow if needed).

Cheers,

Steve

Absolute final price drop.....$1000 gets both cars or I'll part out if need be. I'm losing nearly a grand at this price...great project but I really need the room. Everything is there to build up an awesome type 3. Can't believe no-one has bought these yet.

I need to give one of the dash pads to someone I promised, however it shouldn't be too hard to source another if you decide to buy.

However I need to let ebay run it's course first.
