impaled kombi on news
Just saw a kombi on the news. It crashed into a guard rail and it impaled the car from front to back. Driver was cut free and they said he was
fine.
who would have thought a guard rail was strong enough to enter one end and go out the other?

Here are a couple of pictures taken of a car coming down the range from Toowoomba towards Brisbane.
Driver was apparently unhurt. Very Lucky

That Ford is now the daily driver of one of my mates in Tenterfield. It needed a few bits, like an 'engine box' (front cut, effectively) and a
heater core...

the kombi was very similar.
Althought it had gone right through...out the back.
I hope the person is well.

at least in a kombi theres a good chance of the barrier passing below the driver, instead of through them

I can't believe that falcon. That's amazing that no-one was killed. I guess luck was definately on their side that day.

Luck was on their side because the rail wasn't!!
*Dodgy joke drum sounds*
Anybody remember that crash on Pt Panorama (I think) where the car flipped and landed on the guard rail, slicing it in half?
