just putting this out there. A conservative estimate of 12 hours to change my shift rod coupler and shift rod bushing in my Type 3 over about 5 days. A pretty enjoyable experience all up.:cry

This is a shit of a job I reckon. Did it to my car before Valla.
Makes a huge difference to the way the gear shift works but its still a mongrel job. Still once it's done you will probably never have to do it again hey :)

yep im pretty happy now, gotta get some new number plates. CLICK, cause thats the sound the shifter makes going into gear now.
