just putting this out there. A conservative estimate of 12 hours to change my shift rod coupler and shift rod bushing in my Type 3 over about 5 days.
A pretty enjoyable experience all up.:cry

This is a shit of a job I reckon. Did it to my car before Valla.
Makes a huge difference to the way the gear shift works but its still a mongrel job. Still once it's done you will probably never have to do it again

yep im pretty happy now, gotta get some new number plates. CLICK, cause thats the sound the shifter makes going into gear now.
