IRS conversion - jig available


Any-one who is thinking bout doin an IRS conversion to their swing-axle, but didn't want to try to make the jig............there is a solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Borrow my jig, it works just finished the conversion on my buggy (even had the body on)

Just a thought

Caution when welding the IRS brackets in place Using the jig do so very slowly so as not to heat up the metal too much and cause distortion on the chassis.

Also...


Don't forget to bolt a brace across the rear forks before you start. Prefferably use a large piece of angle iron, other wise they will twist and warp.

2ndly have you bolted it all back togeather yet ? Once you do get a 4 wheel alignment to make sure your tow, camber and caster are set correctly.

Lastly congrats I told you it was pretty easy :D
