need new seats, any recommendations?


my 1970 type 3 square has tatty old front seats, ripped to shreds, springs broken. Just wondering who has replaced seats and what with? i want seats that mount quite low, any ideas?

just get them rebuilt. If this is not an option try an old golf 80's should be low enough and almost match up with original interior, after some bling try a later model golf. Get a price i found that having the seat rebuilt was cheaoer than buying secondhand one's and they feel awsome.



Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...

It's all good, until it's bad, i suppose

Definitely rebuild- these are Kombi ones rebuilt- head restraints not fitted back in photo

it all depends on what you want the stock ones can be rebuilt really well, other than that there are after market and jap stuff which are good as well but harder to fit and require and engineers to fit
