Door seals
Hi.
I bought a pair of door seals for my 71 beetle a few months back as the ones currently on my car have done their dash. I've tried to fit them today
and the corners don't seem to match up with the corners of the door. On the receipt for the seals it says '68 beetle door seals'. i'm not sure
wether i have the wrong type of seals or i'm just not fitting them properly. Any advice or comments appreciated guys.
Cheers
JP

they should fit
They should fit as a 68 door is the same as a 71 door but who's to say they are in the wrong packet?
You can stretch them a bit.
Everything 36HP !
Change over king and link spindles
6-12volt semaphores

i have a feeling that the door seals were the same right the way thro
i put one of a mates 62 bug on my 71 superbug and they were exaclty the same
i've noticed that the cheapo rubbers u get dont even have proper corners on them
theyre pretty much circular when u lay them out flat LOL
have u tried switching left for right?
