Looks like it is, since its got crotch coolers. Even if it is a 51, there's nothing done there that cant be put back to stock if you or a new owner
wants to. So I don't think you need to be too game to drop it like that.
Looks better anyway. Nice job, would be great with some proper split tail lights on it. It doesn't get much better than a crotch cooler split. Is
it an OG RHD?

Zwitter's didn't have crotch coolers or one piece windows though.
Most people seem normal, till you get to know them.

i didn't say i didn't like it, it's just that i wouldn't like the restoration brigade howling for my blood.
if i had a 51 ragtop (as long as it wasn't a perfect unrestored example) i would prob put it on a 54/55 pan, lower the front and add big brakes, a
big motor, rims, etc... i just thought that fitting airbags would involve clearancing the body.

The bug is Georges, owner of classic veedub.
Yes, a bag kit will be available soon, made and engineered to aussie standards. This bug is fully engineered.
Its a 51, on a ball joint / irs pan. The bug can be returned to standard without much trouble at all. I have notched the rear shock support towers to
get it as low as this. Smaller tyres would let it sit much lower, as its resting on the front tyres now. I am in the middle of doing a 67 swing axle
pan, with narrowed beam and spindles. It lays on the ground and looks mad as. (pics soon)

I was at Classic today & had a look.. fun to watch it going up, & down, engine off, - hiss when going down, "woops got a punctured car" & a bit of
compressor clatter when going up,
fun thing to have, & pretty straight forward to fit or remove,
they are Empii hubcaps, & for those that don't know, it is a daily driver, frequently seen with the inside & roof rack , loaded with packages of
orders going out, better to have a not fully original split window driving around like a real car, that everybody can see and enjoy, rather than a
more original one shoved away out of sight
Please, I need drivers side window regulator (winder mechanism) for my '54
