Hydraulic Lifters????


hey all reiinstalling old(stock) rockers until monday shortened push rods arrive. May have hydraulic lifter/push rod seating prob, any help??
It sounds like it is running on 3cylinders.

If you remove push rods from hydraulic lifters, make sure you seat them properly back into the lifter, it is east to have them just sitting to the circlip of the lifter, if this happens, and you run the engine the push rod will usually bend and could damage the lifter.
