[FS - NSW] '74 Kombi pop top camper
I have a white 1974 Kombi 1800 twin carby pop top camper...
... trouble is it has rust around windscreen and front passenger floor :-( It doesn't have windscreen either.
It is however a pop top camper that is complete except for fridge. The motor and gearbox is in good nic and was registered 4 mnths ago.
Other than plans to tidy it up to my liking the kombi didn't have any probs. until I went to replace the windscreen and found the rust. Of course I
wanted to do a proper job cutting it out. I have lost interset, cashed in remainding rego and shelved Kombi for a later date...
So, um, plans have changed as they do and am really unsure as to its worth in current condition?
Suggestions, offers, swap...
I know I know "Photos!" yep I will get my crap together ;-)

you might be able to get the bits of rust fixed on the cheap , it would be easier to sell ready for rego
as it is you might still get $1500 ish ( without seeing it of course)

Yep, I could just fibreglass/bog it, register it and then repeat process every so often or sell it bodged up... I just can't bring myself to do
either :-S
If I was to fix properly and re register I would prob keep it.
I am fully aware of the predicament I have placed myself and Kombi in by cashing in the rego, but needed the cash of which there wasn't much
forthcoming anyways grrr (another story) and yeh I'm gonna lose money, but, anyways :-)
I would rather put Kombi "out there" for someone to take up who is more skilled (or financial) in fixing the rust as i am way 'outa my league :-|

Got pics?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, and in good condition- but rather tossed in sideways - Beer in one
hand - chocolate in the other - body totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"
