featured in the cars guide today.

1.4L with supercharger AND turbocharger =125kW

made for some interesting reading. wonder if it will come to oz.

its a golf toyota done the same thing in the 80,s with the IGG motors 2 ltr 6 supercharger combined with a turbo

put it in the polo or lupo (if they still make them) and then you'll really get some performance.

wasn't it common to also add turbo's to the already supercharged toyota 4AGZE's?

sure did... am surprised at the way the supercharger is bypassed when the turbo is spooled up. great design tho and to get such a big kW figure from a tiny motor is impressive.
the comparison to the 2.5L motor in the US spec Jetta is also surprising. 110kW from 2.5L and 125kW from 1.4L.

would love the R32 tho :thumb

i personally think the mk IV r32 (one in video) looks much much better than the new mk5 r32

One should think that it would need to be dual-intercooled and need some crazy valve system?
